Role

We are looking for an Associate Director who will be a Digital and Paid Social Media leader for Engine Media. We will rely on your expertise to build and execute amazing digital strategies for our clients, while leading our rapidly growing Paid Social practice. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience and passion for both Programmatic media and Paid Social who is also looking to broaden their responsibilities and grow their career in digital media. This candidate will also have the opportunity to help build a specialism and expertise around Amazon media solutions and paid advertising solutions – given that Amazon is forecasted to take more share of marketer dollars from Facebook and Google in 2018. Any eCommerce experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Specific Responsibilities – Digital Media

  • Develop and present digital media strategies, plans and detailed recommendations to Engine Media clients

  • Lead Engine Media’s day-to-day relationships with key clients

  • Lead, motivate and inspire a talented team of digital media professionals

  • Lead digital media activation across Programmatic, Search, Paid Social, eComm and Video platforms

    to deliver against client objectives

  • Communicate and present strategies and execution approaches to clients and internal stakeholders

  • Be an expert on the latest innovations on Search, Paid Social & Video platforms and provide points-

    of-view and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders

  • Work with Analytics team on measurement plans to track media performance against client KPIs

  • Have the opportunity to help develop a dedicated practice around Amazon media solutions

 

Specific Responsibilities – Paid Social

  • Be the go-to Paid Social thought leader for clients, team members and Engine Group network

  • Identify opportunities for Engine Media and our clients to be first-movers on new opportunities in

    the Paid Social space

  • Design and present Paid Social strategies for new business; Create case studies that represent

    capability as best in class

  • Implement internal Paid Social training program and knowledge center

  • Identify new partnerships, capabilities and talent to further advance Engine Media’s Paid Social

    practice

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university

  • 5+ years digital media agency experience, with at least 2 years focused on Paid Social

  • Deep understanding of Paid Social platforms and their opportunities for advertisers including:

             Facebook
             Pinterest
             Twitter
             Snapchat
             LinkedIn
  • Strong point-of-view on the future of social media and what’s new that Engine Media and our clients should be thinking about

  • Experience working on both DR and brand marketing clients –eCommerce is a plus

  • Experience managing teams of at last 2 people

  • Experience using third party tracking for measurement and optimization

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients while representing Engine Media as an expert in

    the industry

  • Extreme organization and project management skills are a must

  • Solid interpersonal and teamwork abilities – collaboration is probably the most critical

    requirement

  • Demonstrated curiosity, critical thinking and problem solving abilities
