Engine Media is looking for a Media Analyst to support the Director of Analytics with measurement planning, client reporting, analysis and insights across a wide range of digitally driven media clients, as well as website tagging strategy, and custom projects such as forecasting and modeling for select clients.


  • Full responsibility of all reporting and analytics deliverables for designated clients.
  • Derive insights from campaign performance reports that are meaningful to the media planning teams and tie back to client marketing goals.
  • Assist with deploying and troubleshooting measurement tags on client’s digital properties (web and mobile).
  • Assist the Director of Analytics with creation of measurement plans to accompany media team’s strategic recommendations.
  • Contribute to shared reporting and trafficking codebase (written in Python) to aid in technical operations of the company
  • Effective communication with the media planning & buying teams to promote deeper understanding of data and analytics.
  • Participate in new business pitches if and when needed to demonstrate our full range of analytics and reporting capabilities.



  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 1-2 years of analytics/ad ops experience at an agency or ad tech company.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel including general understanding of regression and optimization modeling
  • Strong understanding of biddable media (paid social, programmatic) within digital advertising.
  • Knowledge of a scripting language (Python, R or similar) preferred (or willing to learn)!
  • Familiar with all or any of: Doubleclick, Adwdords, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Business Manager, Bing Ads
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and analysis in business writing.
