EMX combines the services of an automated global marketplace specializing in direct-to-consumer access through technologies like header bidding, with a leading deterministic data and decisioning platform for advertisers and brands. As an integrated business, EMX gives clients access to a unified supply chain providing access to more audiences on all screens, including TV, OOH, mobile and desktop.

Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Media Strategist to work in our Chicago office with our Strategy & Planning team and Account Executives through each step of the sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare creative and strategic responses to client RFPs and develop subsequent media plans that meet client specific objectives.
  • Investigate creative, innovative approaches to strategically reach the target consumer
  • Determine pricing and budget allocations based on campaign parameters and individual client requirements.
  • Assist Sales Team in the development of pre-campaign materials including targeting recommendations, industry research, client analysis, and/or case studies to support the strategy of proposed media plans.
  • Develop expertise in Clearstream’s product offerings and resources.
  • Communicate with internal teams to gain insights on historical campaign performance, inventory availabilities, targeting options, and product updates.
  • Assist Account Executive with client calls and strategic meetings.
  • Work on special projects of strategic importance at the direction of management.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing or related field.
  • 3-4 years in advertising industry (past agency/publisher/media/etc.) preferred.
  • Basic understanding of digital and brand advertising industry or strong desire to learn.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate internal and external needs.
  • Self-starter able to thrive in a past paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task without allowing performance to suffer.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build rapport and trust while super-serving our agency partners and internal teams.
  • Very proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow within the company.
  • Positive attitude and desire to work in an entrepreneurial, innovative environment.
