Role

Our Paid Search Manager will develop and implement paid search strategies to deliver against client objectives; communicate and present paid search strategies, and execute approaches to clients and internal stakeholders. This person will be a Search Marketing thought leader across Engine, and we will rely on their expertise to develop and shape our rapidly growing Paid Search practice. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Paid Search strategies to deliver against client objectives
  • Communicate and present Paid Search strategies and execution approaches to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Responsible for day to day execution of Paid Search on behalf of Engine clients, including but not limited to:
    • Daily bid optimizations
    • Daily check of budget pacing and performance against key KPIs
    • Optimize campaign performance through ad copy, keywords, bids, geo-targeting and landing page strategy
    • Manage pay-per-click campaigns across AdWords, Bing YouTube, GDN, etc.
    • Build and manage Product Listing Ad (PLA) feeds for ecommerce clients
    • Pull reporting to track and communicate performance, and review data for accuracy
    • Write digital reports and develop key insights and implications
  • Track and analyze performance against client business objectives and KPIs, and deliver recommendations and optimizations to improve performance
  • Pull competitive intelligence reports through third party tools and help to create an insightful presentation of this data
  • Align seamlessly with planning team; understanding full client relationships and Paid Search’s role within the strategic plan

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing Paid Search campaigns on Google, Bing, & YouTube
  • Deep understanding and experience with all AdWords and Bing products including PLAs, Retargeting, and Google Analytics
  • Experience using third party tracking and multi-attribution tools to measure and optimize Paid Search campaigns
  • In-depth knowledge and experience using Google Ad Words and Bing Ads platforms
  • Experience with third party bid management platforms such as Doubleclick Search, Kenshoo or Marin Software is a plus
  • Google AdWords certification is essential; Additional relevant certifications (e.g.: Facebook Blueprint, Bing Certification) are a plus
  • SEO knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients while representing Engine as an expert in the industry
  • Extreme organization and project management skills are a must
  • Solid interpersonal and teamwork abilities – collaboration is probably the most critical requirement
  • Demonstrated curiosity, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong analytical abilities, including drawing insights from client or media reported trends
